The #NewME European Youth Editorial Board is an incredibly active and diverse community of young people striving for change in environmental awareness and sustainable development. We represent different nationalities and backgrounds, coming together to exchange ideas, develop stories, and contribute to the project's mission of fostering a more environmentally conscious society.  

As the Youth Board, we actively engage in discussions, workshops, and exciting projects to ensure that young voices are heard in shaping the future of environmental education. Using new media tools and innovative story-telling methods, our work brings fresh perspectives to environmental journalism, while encouraging and participating in climate action, decision-making processes, and co-developing solutions that resonate with our generation.  

Throughout the project, we have participated in various initiatives, attending workshops, creating educational content, and engaging with communities to promote a more eco-friendly lifestyle. Beyond our responsibilities, participating in this project is also about inspiration, learning, and building meaningful connections with like-minded individuals from five European countries.  

Each “Green Story” published in the #NewME Newsroom, and in the two editions of the #NewME Magazine, was written and produced by the European Youth Editorial Board and contributors of the #NewME Erasmus+ project. Every story is unique and related to local topics and interests from each partner location: Brno (Czech Republic), Lviv (Ukraine), Münster (Germany), Polańczyk (Poland), and Shtip (North Macedonia). 

   Significant change starts with small steps – through the #NewME project, we can take those steps together.
