Thank you for visiting the #NewME Newsroom and e-Crossmedia-blog!

#NewME: New Media for Green Citizenship is an ERASMUS+ Strategic Partnership project between four organizations and one university from Germany, Poland, Ukraine, North Macedonia, and Czech Republic.

#NewME trains Youth Workers in order to empower Youth as active reporters for sustainable citizenship through the development of new media skills.

This collaborative project explores the use of New Media through the development of tools for young people to use when addressing and reporting the climate crisis and other “green” topics of interest, from their own perspective. The project develops a connection between young individuals and the local population of each partner country, in order to tackle pressing environmental issues and advocate for change.

The goal of #NewME is to develop helpful and effective tools for young people with digital skills to unlock and access the information and knowledge needed to be more environmentally conscious in a world that is becoming more and more digitized. Through this capacity-building project, the leading partners have a chance to guide young people through journalist-style training in order to highlight, promote and encourage sustainable practices on a local level with global impact, therefore engaging civic society with content on “green” topics, produced and developed by youth! The #NewME project engages youth in lifelong learning, through their pursuit of Green Citizenship, while establishing a positive image of our European Youth fighting against human impact on the environment.

In our Newsroom and e-Crossmedia-blog, you will find:
